John the Baptist

John the Baptist preached to the people of Isreal that he would baptize them, but the mighty would come to baptize them with things he could not provide, like the Holy Ghost with fire . He told the people that he was not worthy to baptize Jesus. God was pleased with John, Jesus ,and the people for being baptized, and we know this because God released a dove and came down to the people and said that he was pleased. In Luke chapter three God came to John in the wilderness and preached about repentance for sins. The Lord wanted John to preach how the Lord wanted the people to act. He said that those who do not repent which represents fruit, will have their tree cut down, which represents the people. He tells the people to share everything that they have. He tells the taxers not to take more than they are suppossed to. He tells the soldiers not no acuse anyone wrongly. The things that John preeched tied into Jesus' mission because Jesus helped the poor and wanted everyone else to also help the poor. Jesus wanted the people to repent fot their sins because it was the right thing to do and not because they would die it they didn't. The evidence for that is the story about the tree being cut down if they did not produce fruit. Others might need something more than someone you, so dont't be greedy.
